Create Dreams, Share The Vision
and Live The Experience
This is worth the price of admission!

Reverse Dunk is an exciting new act to appear on the jazz circuit.  Their shows create an emotional experience for contemporary and smooth jazz audiences who love to groove but find delight in flavorful melodies and hot solos.  This four-piece ensemble actually sounds much larger. This group features world-class instrumentalist whose careers have taken them around the globe.

Their roots run wide and deep too. They individually have performed on stages throughout Europe, Asia and North America with renown classical artists (violinist Midori, erhu player, Ma Xiao Hui and clarinetist, Ken Granti), rock icons (Peter Frampton, Rick Springfield), R&B legends (Earth,Wind& Fire, Michael McDonald, Maceo Parker), Grammy-nominated/Award-Winning jazz headliners (Craig Chaquico, Brandon Fields) and pop acts (Jack Johnson, Kirby Shaw).  Whether performing for large audiences or in more intimate settings, it's their chemistry together that makes this group stand out at music festivals,  jazz venues and corporate events.

Their inspiring story began in Denver, Colorado and in Oregon with the vision of drummer, David Bolen, a former University of Colorado hoopster.  He conceived the name Reverse Dunk for this group because of its retro and nostalgic feel, plus, he further explains, it's like a slam-dunk but with even more  flair and finesse.

Bolen met bass player Hilliard Scott while attending college. Bolen eventually met award-winning keyboardist, Dr. Joel Clifft, while performing on several projects in Oregon.  In addition to performing live, Dr. Clifft is the head of keyboard studies  at Azusa Pacific University.  The fourth member of the group, Vlad Colesnicov, who originates from Moldova, plays both classical and electric guitars.  Before relocating to Denver, he   performed for large audiences and appeared on multiple television programs throughout Europe,   Bolen recruited him into the group for his personality, versatility and sheer  talent.

Reverse Dunk has indeed created a dynamic and energetic platform for their brand of musical expression that won't disappoint!

Their success is attributed to the fact that they realize that the human spirit is compensated for the value we each add to the lives of our teammates, business partners and listening audiences.  The band puts it all together with an intent to move their audiences emotionally.  They believe it is the experience of shared dreams that elate us at the core and make us touch  the lives of others through music.

Their debut CD which will officially be released in 2019 has been getting rave reviews.

Whether in the studio or on stage, they don't  just show up to a gig.

THEY COME TO PLAY!!!!
